The cabin was beautifully decorated and really brought the old-fashioned Christmas Spirit.
Pam conducted and said the following:
Introduced Jeri Frum and thanked her for all of her help in obtaining the land for a new museum.
The lot now belongs to the town and the DUP will be breaking ground in April. Pam would like all daughters in attendance.
Thanks to Wendy, Cara, Arvilla, Katrina and Orlene for the decorations and program and Beverly, LeeAnn and Wendy for the food.
The program went as follows:
Zoe Croxford played some favorite Christmas songs on the violin.
Orlene told stories of Pioneer Christmas' then everyone share their favorite Christmas traditions.
The next meeting will be in April. There will be an election. If anyone is interested, please let Pam know.

DUP Meeting 11/12/13
Tonight's meeting was held at 6:00 p.m. with Captain Pamela Robbins conducting. Opening prayer was given by Shirley C. Dearden and the Pledge was lead by Patricia J. Richins.
Meeting proceeded as follows:
New members papers received- Tanah Stevens, Tiffany Richins and MaryLynn Jensen
Shirley Carter Dearden received her 30 year pin
Decembers meeting was announced- December 10th. The theme will be Old Fashioned Christmas.
Althea is currently in a rest home and Fawn Stephens health is failing.
Mayor Randy Ovard announced the purchase of the old church property for pocket park and new DUP museum.
A special thank you was presented to Randy and his wife, Becky, for their work in obtaining this hallowed ground.
Martha Morris' history was presented by Becky Ovard and Wendy Rothschild gave the lesson entitled, "Deseret Sunday School Union".

DUP Opening Social
On September 17, 2013 the Henefer Camp held their opening social. The committee for the evening were Wendy Rothschild, Beverly Mair and LeeAnn Rowser and they did a fantastic job!
Captain Pamela W. Robbins started the meeting by welcoming all members and visitors, there were quite a few visitors!
There was a musical number called "Those Pioneers" provided by Candice Olson, Jennifer Pantone and Stephanie Snell.
Orlene Snyder announced that there had been $7000+ sales on the history book and that they were looking for help in cataloging artifacts in the cabin. Eillene Richins' family also sent a nice thank you note to all those who were close to her during her life.
Arvilla R. Fawcett gave a short description of the purpose of the DUP and Pam continued on with more announcements and dates.
Those insterested in becoming a member of the DUP were referred to Deon Ferry, the County DUP Registrar. She gave a quick summary of how to become a member and what types of memberships there are. There were 4 new members announced: Tanah Stevens, Bonnie Ovard, Joyce Housely and Katie Richins-Benson. Welcome, welcome!
Following these announcements the following special awards and corresponding pins were given:
Shirley Lynn Carter Dearden (31 years)
Marie Goodworth Richins (33 years)
Pamela Wilde Robbins (38 years)
Amy Althea Ferguson Richins (32 years)
